Fine artist Daren Young specializes in representational paintings and drawings in a technical approach that can be described as stylized realism. He is traditionally trained in a variety of two-dimensional media including watercolor, oil, acrylic, graphite, charcoal, pastel, and Prismacolor pencil. He also does printmaking, working primarily in intaglio etching.
